News: Multiple vehicle collision blocks Northbound I-5

SEATTLE, WA – A multiple vehicle collision blocked three left hand express lanes of Northbound I-5 on Wednesday evening.

Washington State Department of Transportation posted on Twitter the accident occurred at the Mercer Exit in the express lanes around 7:29 p.m.

Seattle Fire Department responded to the accident and reported it as a multi-vehicle collision.

The cause of the crash is unknown at this time. It is unclear if there were any injuries or fatalities.
