News: Multiple EMS units called to crash on I-405 in NE Lynnwood

SNOHOMISH COUNTY, WA — Multiple EMS crews responded to a collision Friday afternoon on Interstate 405 near Lynnwood’s Alderwood Mall, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.

The wreck took place near the ramp to Interstate 5 southbound and was first reported by WSDOT at 1:35 p.m.

Officials have not provided further information on the events leading up to the crash, but two left lanes were closed as a result.

A photo captured at the scene shows a heavy EMS response, but no injuries have been confirmed as of this writing.

Motorists were advised of delays in the area and urged to proceed through the area with extra caution.
