KING COUNTY, WA — A vehicle accident Thursday morning closed a right lane on Interstate 405 in north Bothell, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
The collision occurred on the southbound lanes just north of Exit 26 to State Route 527 northbound, in the city’s Canyon Lake area. It was first reported by WSDOT at 10:05 a.m.
Little information has been disclosed at time, but by 10:12 a.m., local firefighters, Washington State Patrol troopers, and WSDOT’s Incident Response Team (IRT) had all responded to the crash site.
Here’s a look at the collision on I-405 southbound just north of SR 527 blocking the right lane.

By 10:18 p.m., the scene had been cleared to the right shoulder with all travel lanes restored to traffic, but officials warned of lingering delays due to the visual distraction.
It remains unclear whether anyone was seriously hurt.
