News: Multi-vehicle crash reported on Maple Valley Hwy in Renton

KING COUNTY, WA — Officers responded to a multi-vehicle wreck late Tuesday morning on Maple Valley Highway in southeast Renton, according to the Renton Police Department.

The collision occurred at the intersection with 152nd Avenue Southeast and was first reported by the department shortly before 12:00 p.m.

Authorities have not disclosed the cause of the accident, but three vehicles were involved. At the time of the initial report, tow crews were en route to the scene and delays were felt around the area.

By 1:41 p.m., more than 100 minutes later, the scene was announced cleared and all lanes were reopened to traffic.

It remains unclear whether anyone was injured.
