SEATTLE, WA — A multi-vehicle accident late Wednesday afternoon completely closed a State Route 520 exit ramp near Seattle’s Portage Bay, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
The collision occurred on the ramp connecting SR-520 westbound to the northbound lanes of Interstate 5. It was first reported by the WSDOT at 3:45 p.m.
On the I-5 northbound on-ramp from SR 520 there is a collision partially blocking the ramp.

A partial closure was initially announced, but by 4:04 p.m., the entire ramp was shut down.
It was not immediately clear what led up to the wreck, but WSDOT’s Incident Response Team (IRT) responded to the scene.

As of this writing, authorities have not released details on the parties involved.
