News: Multi-car collision causes injuries near Renton Shopping Center

RENTON, WA — Minor injuries were reported Monday afternoon after a collision involving multiple vehicles at a busy Renton intersection, according to Renton Police Department.

Authorities responded to the incident at Rainier Avenue South and South Grady Way near the Renton Shopping Center shortly before 2:30 p.m.

Traffic congestion built up around the site of the crash, prompting advisories to take alternate routes in the area.

At 3:06 p.m., Renton police reported the accident had been cleared, but warned of another possible crash along South Grady Way compounding traffic delays.
