News: Moxee crash kills one on State Route 24

MOXEE, WA – A three-car accident on State Route 24 killed one woman at around 4:11 p.m. Friday afternoon.

According to Kima TV, the deceased was identified as 28-year-old Christine Cox. She was traveling northbound on S. Rivard Road when she attempted to cross in front of another driver, 28-year-old Yeltsin Garduno, on State Route 24.

A third vehicle was involved in the accident as well. The driver, 42-year-old Juan Palomo, was forced to swerve off the road to avoid the initial crash.

Cox was transported to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, where she died. The other two drivers did not sustain any injuries.
