News: Motorcyclist left hurt after collision on Delridge Way in West Seattle

WEST SEATTLE, WA — One person was injured late Friday when their motorcycle collided with another vehicle in West Seattle’s South Delridge neighborhood, according to West Seattle Blog.

The accident happened on Delridge Way Southwest at Southwest Trenton Street. Seattle Police and Seattle Fire Department crew members were seen arriving on the scene at around 11:08 p.m.

It was unclear what caused the crash, but preliminary details indicate the victim was riding a Vespa when they were involved in a crash with a driver in an unspecified vehicle.

After fire officials determined that the rider’s injuries were not life-threatening, a dispatched medic unit was canceled.

A section of Delridge Way Southwest was shut down during the emergency response but was reopened shortly after 11:27 p.m.

No further details have been released, and no charges have been reported as of this writing.
