News: Motorcyclist killed, driver injured in Spanaway crash

SPANAWAY, WA – A motorcyclist was killed and another driver critically injured after a collision in Pierce County on Sunday.

According to KIRO, the accident took place sometime before 9 p.m. along State Route 7 near the intersection with 268th Street East.

Both a passenger vehicle and a motorcycle were involved in the crash. The circumstances leading up to the collision are unclear at this time. However, the driver of the motorcycle sustained fatal injuries as a result.

The driver in the passenger vehicle was taken to the hospital in critical condition. They are expected to face DUI charges as a result.
