News: Motorcyclist hospitalized after collision with pickup truck

TACOMA, WA. – A motorcyclist was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after a collision with a pickup truck on Tuesday afternoon.

According to The News Tribune, the crash occurred at around 1:15 p.m. on South Meridian between 39th Avenue SW and 43rd Avenue SW. Puyallup police were forced to shut down S. Meridian through South Hill in both directions for several hours as they worked to investigate and clear the scene.

The motorcycle rider, a 44-year-old man, was transported to the hospital with serious injuries. The pickup driver was not injured in the crash. Authorities are still investigating the accident, and we will continue to monitor this developing story.
