News: Motorcyclist dies after multi-vehicle crash on I-5 near Arlington

SNOHOMISH COUNTY, WA — One person died Tuesday morning near Arlington following a multi-vehicle wreck involving a motorcycle, according to KOMO News.

The crash unfolded on the southbound lanes of Interstate 5 near State Route 530, prompting a response from tow crews and the medical examiner at around 7:50 a.m.

While the circumstances of the accident remain under investigation, authorities indicated that a motorcycle, a semi-truck, and a Jeep were involved.

The operator of the motorcycle, a man whose identity remains undisclosed, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Other crashes in the area also contributed to significant traffic backups for Tuesday morning commuters.
