News: Motorcyclist dies after hitting pedestrian in Interbay

SEATTLE – A motorcyclist died after colliding with a woman at 15th Avenue West and West Newton Street Tuesday night, according to KIRO 7. 

A 32-year-old man was riding a motorcycle north on 15th Avenue West when he hit the woman as she crossed the street after getting off a bus around 11 p.m. 

First responders pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene and transported the woman to an area hospital in serious condition. 

The incident is under investigation by the Traffic Collision Investigation Squad.
