News: Motorcyclist critically injured in crash with car near north Issaquah

KING COUNTY, WA — One person was hospitalized Thursday night after their motorcycle collided with a car in north Issaquah, according to FOX 13 Seattle.

The accident occurred in the 6300 block of East Lake Sammamish Parkway Southeast shortly before 8:00 p.m.

Details are limited, but Issaquah Eastside Fire & Rescue crews had to extricate the motorcyclist from underneath the vehicle.

The victim was then rushed to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries. No updates on their condition have been released as of this writing.

Motorists were asked to avoid the scene, as a section of East Lake Sammamish Parkway SE between SE 62nd Street and SE Issaquah-Fall City Road was shut down.

An investigation was underway.
