PUYALLUP, WA – A mother and her daughter were killed in a collision caused by an alleged impaired driver on Washington 410 near Valley Avenue on Sunday morning, according to FOX 13.
A driver collided head-on with another vehicle on westbound Washington 410 around 5:30 a.m.
First responders pronounced the 53-year-old mother and her 30-year-old daughter dead at the scene. The driver who hit them was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities charged the surviving driver with DUI vehicular homicide.
Following the wreck, crews shut down the area to process the scene. The area was reopened around 9:30 a.m.
