SEATTLE, WA — Multiple emergency crews were called to a crash Thursday afternoon on State Route 520 in Seattle’s Montlake neighborhood, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
The wreck took place on the westbound lanes just west of Montlake Boulevard. It was first reported by WSDOT at 1:50 p.m.
Officials have not shared the circumstances behind the accident, but the right lane was blocked in the aftermath.
Shortly after 2:00 p.m., medics, fire crews, WSDOT’s Incident Response Team, and the Washington State Patrol had all responded to the scene.

Crews remained on the scene for nearly an hour, suggesting a serious crash. By 2:42 p.m., the accident had been cleared and all lanes were reopened.
At this time, no injuries have been reported.
