News: Medics respond to collision on SR-167 NB near Renton

KING COUNTY, WA — A vehicle accident Friday afternoon closed all northbound lanes on State Route 167 near Renton’s La Rosa Meadows area, according to Washington State Department of Transportation.

The crash happened on the northbound lanes just before Interstate 405 and was first reported by WSDOT at 2:40 p.m.

Only a center lane was initially blocked, but shortly before 3:00 p.m., the entire northbound highway was shut down as medics, fire crews, and Washington State Patrol troopers responded to the scene.

By 4:14 p.m., all accident had been cleared from the roadway and all lanes were reopened to traffic.

It was not immediately clear whether anyone was seriously injured or what led up to the crash.
