News: Medics, fire crews called to crash on SR-167 onramp in Kent

KING COUNTY, WA — A vehicle accident early Tuesday afternoon closed two left lanes on a State Route 167 entrance ramp in Kent, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.

The collision occurred on the onramp from SR-516 to the southbound lanes of SR-167. It was first reported by WSDOT at 12:15 p.m.

Authorities have not shared details regarding the cause of the wreck, but by 12:24 p.m., medics and fire crews had responded to the scene, suggesting possible injuries.

Footage shared by WSDOT indicates at least two vehicles, including a pickup truck and a passenger car, were involved.

At 1:47 p.m., more than 90 minutes after the initial report, crews had cleared the scene from the roadway.
