News: Man, woman in their 80s killed in multi-vehicle wreck in Everett 

EVERETT, WA – A man and a woman in their 80s died as a result of a multi-vehicle wreck that happened on 19th Avenue Southeast on Friday, Fox13Seattle reports. 

The Everett Fire Department reported the crash after 11:45 a.m. and said that one of the vehicles, which appeared to be a gray sedan, had overturned. The two other vehicles, a red minivan and a dark colored SUV, appeared to sustain significant front-end damage. 

The force of the collision led the man and woman in their 80s to die from their injuries at the scene. Three others survived. Two people were evaluated for their injuries at the scene, and one person was transported to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett for treatment. 

The physical conditions of the surviving occupants are currently unknown. 

Authorities initially were told that one of the vehicles had reportedly caught on fire, but later confirmed that was not the case.
