News: Man sent to hospital after pedestrian crash at West Seattle intersection

WEST SEATTLE, WA — A 34-year-old man was injured last Thursday afternoon in a pedestrian crash near West Seattle’s Westcrest Park, according to West Seattle Blog.

The incident was reported at the corner of 9th Avenue Southwest and Henderson Place Southwest, in the Highland Park neighborhood, at about 2:28 p.m.

Seattle Police have not disclosed the circumstances behind the event, but officers and firefighters responded to the scene after receiving reports of a pedestrian hit by a vehicle.

The extent of the victim’s injuries remains unclear, but Seattle Fire Department officials later confirmed that the male patient was transported by private ambulance to an area hospital in stable condition.

At this time, authorities have not reported any charges.
