News: Man hurt by vehicle during north Seattle carjacking

SEATTLE, WA — A man suffered a vehicle-related injury Thursday afternoon during a carjacking in north Seattle’s Haller Lake neighborhood, according to FOX 13 Seattle.

The incident occurred in the area of Aurora Avenue North and North 143rd Street.

Few details have been released at this time, but the Seattle Police Department said the man was injured by his own car as a suspect took control of the vehicle and drove away from the scene.

First responders transported the victim to a local hospital. The extent of his injuries remains undisclosed.

At the time of FOX 13 Seattle’s report, Seattle Police have still not located the suspect or the stolen vehicle. Authorities have not yet released a description of either.
