News: Man hospitalized after two-car crash on SR-3 in Shelton

MASON COUNTY, WA — A 26-year-old man was seriously injured Tuesday morning after a two-vehicle collision on state Route 3 in Shelton, according to The Olympian.

Washington State Patrol said the crash happened along the northbound lanes of SR-3 at the Agate Road intersection at approximately 6:10 a.m.

The man was on Agate Road and attempted to turn left onto SR-3 without yielding to traffic. The man’s vehicle was then struck by a northbound vehicle on the highway.

The driver was transported by airlift to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. His condition has not been disclosed.

The passengers in the other vehicle, a man and a woman in their 40s, were not reported injured.
