News: Man hospitalized after serious motorcycle crash on I-5 near Stanwood

STANWOOD, WA — A motorcyclist was seriously injured Wednesday afternoon after his bike crashed into a road median on Interstate 5 near Stanwood, according to KOMO News.

Trooper Rocky Oliphant with Washington State Patrol said the man was initially traveling northbound on the highway when his bike left the roadway and crossed into the median shortly before 5:00 p.m. when the incident was reported.

The man was taken to Providence Hospital in Everett with serious injuries. His identity and condition has not been released.

The motorcycle was found to be the only vehicle involved in the crash. WSP said they believe impairment was a factor in the accident.
