News: Man charged with DUI following rollover collision in Kent 

KENT, WA – A 54-year-old man was charged with DUI following a rollover collision that happened before 11 p.m. on Thursday, Fox13Seattle reports.

The crash occurred near the Riverbend Golf Complex. Preliminary details show that the impaired driver had drifted off the road and crashed into a metal board on a sidewalk.

The impact of the collision caused the vehicle to overturn, trapping the male driver and his passenger inside the car.

Police said the male driver confessed to drinking Buzzball before the crash. They also discovered he was driving with a suspended license and did not have an ignition interlock system installed.

So, the police not only charged the driver with DUI, but also with first-degree driving with a suspended license, operating a motor vehicle without an ignition interlock, and reckless endangerment.

No injuries have been reported.
