TUKWILA, WA – The man who allegedly caused a deadly wreck on I-5 Friday appeared in court Saturday, according to KIRO 7.
Daud S. Mohamud was driving a Toyota Highlander when he went off Washington 599 and plummeted 25 feet onto I-5.
Mahamud was thrown from the Highlander before it went off Washington 599. He fled the scene but was eventually located and arrested.
One of the two passengers in the Highlander died in the crash, and the other was seriously injured.
The Highlander hit three other vehicles when it fell onto I-5.
Authorities booked Mohamud in the King County Jail. His bond is set at $100,000.
