CATHCART, WA – A 55-year-old man was killed in a hit-and-run collision that occurred in Cathcart on Monday, KomoNews said.
The incident unfolded when the 55-year-old man had reportedly fled the scene after crashing into a Ford Mustang.
The 55-year-old man did not stop and continued driving on southbound Broadway. At a high rate of speed, he crossed into the opposite lane of traffic near Yew Way and crashed his vehicle into a northbound Toyota Camry.
The Toyota driver sustained minor injuries but declined to be taken to a hospital.
The Snohomish County Medical Examiner will release the 55-year-old man’s name, including the circumstances that led to his death.
