News: Man, 25, hospitalized following motorcycle crash near King Co. Int. Airport

SEATTLE, WA – A 25-year-old man was transported to a hospital after a motorcycle crash near King County International Airport on Sunday. 

Washington State Patrol told The News Tribune that the 25-year-old male motorcyclist failed to negotiate a curve while traveling at a high rate on Interstate 5. He lost control of his bike, got thrown off the barrier, and fell off the overpass. Moments later, he came to rest on the off-ramp. 

First responders rushed the man to Harborview Medical Center for treatment of unspecified injuries. 

WSP said the motorcycle operator wore a helmet, but has not confirmed his current physical condition. 

Officials shut down the area for over an hour before reopening.
