News: Male teen killed, 3 critically hurt in crash at Harbor Island 

SEATTLE, WA – A male teen was killed and three people were critically hurt in a single-vehicle crash that happened at Harbor Island Sunday. 

Fox13Seattle said the crash happened after 10:00 p.m. Preliminary details indicate that a 16-year-old girl, the driver, was taking a State Route 99 exit and crashed into a barrier. The car fell 80 feet and crashed. 

One of the passengers, a male teen, was ejected and the driver was either pinned or entrapped. 

Fire crews extricated the teen driver, and medical personnel transported her, the male teen, and two other passengers to Harborview Medical Center. There, the male teen was pronounced dead and the driver and surviving passengers received treatment for their critical, life-threatening injuries. 

Law enforcement is working to determine if speed, impairment, or weather and road conditions were contributing factors behind the crash.
