PUYALLUP, WA – A male motorcyclist lost his life to a two-vehicle crash that happened at the intersection of Highway 512 and East Pioneer Way on Wednesday.
The incident unfolded before 3:30 p.m. when the male motorcyclist attempted to switch lanes and crashed into a white 2023 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck, Seattle Times reports.
The impact of the collision led the motorcyclist to succumb to his injuries. Washington State Patrol has since identified him as 19-year-old Evan Johnson, a Sumner resident.
WSP does not suspect impairment was a contributing factor behind the collision.
