SEATTLE, WA – A male cyclist lost his life to a hit-and-run collision that happened in the Beacon Hill area around midnight on Sunday.
A driver struck the cyclist at the intersection of Beacon Avenue South and South Stevens Street, according to the Seattle Times.
The motorist did not render aid to the cyclist or call 911. They immediately fled the scene.
After arriving, Seattle police declared the cyclist, a 38, dead at the scene.
A full investigation is underway.
