News: Lynnwood home garage left with $50,000 in damage following collision

LYNNWOOD, WA – A Lynnwood home’s garage was left with approximately $50,000 in damage after a car driver crashed into it on Wednesday, King5 reports.

The single-vehicle collision occurred around 11:30 a.m. in the 15200th block of 32nd Avenue West. The driver had crashed into the garage, which compromised its structural integrity, South County Fire reports.

Despite the nature of the crash, the home itself was not impacted, and no one was injured.

The home occupants were not inside or outside the home at the time of the collision and were not forced to evacuate.

A thorough investigation by the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office is underway.
