News: KCSO books DUI driver into jail after car overturns in Poulsbo ravine 

POULSBO, WA – The Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office booked a DUI driver into King County Jail after his car crashed and overturned in a Poulsbo ravine on Wednesday. 

KCSO told Kiro7 that the incident unfolded before 5:30 p.m., when the driver, who was driving on a wet road, swerved out of his lane to avoid crashing into another vehicle and ended up crashing his car into a ravine. 

The man’s car overturned. Officials did not confirm his physical condition, but said he was taken to St. Michael’s Medical Center, where he was evaluated for injuries.

Deputies said the man failed his field sobriety test and was twice over the legal BAC limit, according to his breathalyzer test. 

No other occupants or vehicles were reported to have been involved in the DUI-rollover crash.
