News: Injuries reported following hit-and-run on S Spokane St in Industrial District

SEATTLE, WA — At least one person suffered injuries as a result of a hit-and-run crash Wednesday evening in Seattle’s Industrial District, according to the Seattle Police Department call log.

The incident was reported at the intersection of South Spokane Street and 1st Avenue South at around 6:13 p.m. Officers with the department’s South Precinct were called to the scene shortly after.

While officials have not disclosed the circumstances of the event, police dispatchers described a motor vehicle collision (“MVC”) in which one or more parties fled the scene.

As of this writing, the SPD has not released a description of the hit-and-run vehicle and/or suspect, and the number of those hurt has not been confirmed.
