SEATTLE, WA — At least one person suffered injuries early Thursday evening due to a hit-and-run crash in northeast Seattle’s Bryant neighborhood, according to the Seattle Police Department call log.
The incident was reported in the 4600 block of Union Bay Place Northeast, near the University Village shopping center and just east of the U-District. Officers with the department’s North Precinct responded to the scene after receiving a call at around 5:23 p.m.
While few details have been released, dispatchers listed the event as a motor vehicle collision (“MVC”) in which at least one party fled the scene.
As of this writing, the SPD has not disclosed a sequence of events leading up to the crash or a description of the hit-and-run vehicle.
Officials also have not yet confirmed the number of those hurt and the extent of their injuries.
