News: Injuries reported after hit-and-run on NE 94th St in north Seattle

SEATTLE, WA — At least one person was injured Wednesday afternoon due to a hit-and-run collision in Seattle’s Maple Leaf neighborhood, according to the Seattle Police Department.

The incident was reported at the intersection of Northeast 94th Street and Roosevelt Way Northeast. Officers with the department’s North Precinct responded to the scene after receiving a call at about 3:40 p.m.

Few details have been made available at this time, but dispatchers listed the event as a motor vehicle collision with injuries. At least one of the involved parties fled the scene before authorities arrived.

As of this writing, the SPD has not disclosed the number of people hurt or the extent of injuries sustained.
