News: Injuries reported after hit-and-run on Aurora Ave N in north Seattle

SEATTLE, WA — A hit-and-run collision was reported Wednesday evening in north Seattle’s Haller Lake neighborhood, according to the Seattle Police Department.

The incident occurred at the intersection of Aurora Avenue North (State Route 99) and North 141st Street. Officers with the department’s North Precinct responded to the scene after receiving a call at 6:43 p.m.

Little information has been released at this time, but Seattle Police listed the event as a motor vehicle crash that resulted in injuries to at least one person. The incident was also labeled as a hit-and-run, in which at least one driver or occupant fled the scene.

As of this writing, authorities have not disclosed the number of people hurt or the extent of their injuries.
