News: Injuries reported after hit-and-run on 74th St in north Seattle

SEATTLE, WA — At least one person was hurt Friday afternoon as a result of a hit-and-run crash in north Seattle’s Phinney Ridge neighborhood, according to the Seattle Police Department.

The incident was reported in the 900 block of North 74th Street, near the Linden Avenue North intersection. Officers with the department’s North Precinct responded to the scene after receiving a call at about 3:47 p.m.

Details are limited, but dispatchers said injuries were reported after a motor vehicle collision, which was listed as a hit-and-run.

At this time, the SPD has not confirmed the exact number of people injured or indicated the severity of their injuries. No description of the fleeing party or causing vehicle has been released.
