SEATTLE, WA – Seattle Firefighters responded to a residential fire in the 1600 block of 6th Avenue W. Sunday evening. An elderly woman was injured in the blaze.
According to the Seattle Fire Department’s Twitter Feed, the firefighters arrived at the scene by 10:46 p.m. A primary search all-clear was announced at 10:53 p.m. and a secondary search was given an all-clear at 11:07 p.m.
The injured woman was treated at the site and did not require hospitalization.
Residents were encouraged to avoid the area.
