News: Hit-and-run driver strikes, kills pedestrian on WA 7 near Spanaway

SPANAWAY, WA – According to FOX 13, a hit-and-run driver fatally collided with a pedestrian on WA 7 near 204th St E on Wednesday night.

Authorities believe a person driving a sedan hit the victim as they were walking on the northbound shoulder around 9 p.m. The sedan driver continued north.

Following the collision, crews shut down the northbound lane so troopers could investigate the crash.

The Washington State Patrol is investigating the incident.
