News: Hit-and-run driver strikes, injures Renton man

RENTON, WA – A hit-and-run driver struck and injured a man on Talbot Rd S near S 51st Ct on Friday, according to KIRO 7.

Richard Sanchez was walking his dog, Esco, when a Kia or Hyundai driver hit them around 9 p.m.

Esco ran back to Sanchez’s apartment complex and brought family members to the scene of the accident.

First responders transported Sanchez to an area hospital with multiple broken bones.

Authorities urge anyone with information concerning the incident to contact Renton detectives. They believe the suspect’s car will have damage to its front grill and windshield.
