News: Hit-and-run driver injures boy near Central Houghton

KIRKLAND, WA – A hit-and-run driver struck and injured a boy near 108th Ave NE and NE 62nd St on Sept. 29, according to KING 5.

The 12-year-old boy was walking with his 14-year-old sister around 2:30 p.m. when they crossed 108th Avenue Northeast near 62nd St, and a driver ran over the boy’s foot.

Following the collision, the driver stopped briefly and then fled the scene without leaving any information.

Authorities urge anyone with information concerning the incident to contact the Kirkland Police Department.
