News: Hit-and-run driver fatally collides with pedestrian in west Tacoma

TACOMA, WA – A hit-and-run driver struck and killed a man on the 1200 block of S Vassault St on Nov. 27, according to KIRO 7.

The suspect allegedly hit the victim around 7 p.m.

First responders performed life-saving measures on the victim before pronouncing him dead at the scene.

A witness gave officers information about the driver and vehicle that struck the victim.

Officers found the victim and driver. They arrested the suspect, an adult male, for felony hit-and-run and vehicular homicide. He was booked into the Pierce County Jail.
