News: Hit-and-run driver collides with another vehicle near Rock Island

ROCK ISLAND, WA -According to KIRO 7, the Washington State Patrol is asking the public for help locating a hit-and-run driver who collided with another driver near Batterman Rd and WA 28 EB on Saturday.

Around 12:30 p.m., the driver of a white pickup truck pulled out in front of another pickup truck hauling a trailer filled with hay. The two trucks collided, and the driver of the truck hauling hay was seriously injured.

Following the collision, the white pickup truck driver stopped after the wreck but fled the scene before authorities arrived.

Authorities urge anyone with information concerning the incident to contact the Washington State Patrol.
