News: Hit-and-run crash claims life of elderly pedestrian in Bellevue  

BELLEVUE, WA – An elderly pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run crash that took place outside of the Bellevue Indoor Skate Park on Saturday. 

The female elderly woman was struck by a vehicle while walking on the 14300th block of Bel-Red Road, according to KOMO News. The driver did not render aid to the pedestrian or call 911 and fled the scene prior to first responders’arrival. 

Bellevue Police responded to the scene at 8 a.m. and declared the pedestrian dead at the scene. 

Police believe the hit-and-run suspect was driving a white Toyota Camry from the 1990s. 

Police are actively searching for the suspect and their vehicle and have not made an arrest.
