News: Hit-and-run collision reported on S Atlantic St in SE Seattle

SEATTLE, WA — Officers responded to a hit-and-run crash early Tuesday afternoon in southeast Seattle’s North Beacon Hill neighborhood, according to the Seattle Police Department call log.

The incident unfolded at the intersection of South Atlantic Street and Sturgus Avenue South. Dispatchers first got the call at 12:46 p.m.

While the cause and nature of the collision has not been disclosed, officers with the department’s South Precinct were on the scene of a crash involving a truck. At least one of the parties fled the scene before authorities arrived.

Following the event, the SPD has not confirmed any major injuries or issued a description of the fleeing vehicle.
