News: Fuel spill reported on SR-18 along Tiger Mtn. after semi-truck crash

ISSAQUAH, WA – A driver of an XTRA Lease semi-truck lost control of their vehicle, which led to a collision and a fuel leak spill on SR-18 along Tiger Mountain on Tuesday.

WSDOT Traffic first reported the crash at 6:41 a.m., saying it took place west of I-90. By 7:45 a.m., the right lane was partially blocked, and transportation crews told commuters to expect an extended lane closure and delays.

By 11:07 a.m., the right lane still remains closed. 

At this time, officials have not provided a time estimate regarding when the scene will clear. 

No injuries have been reported, and the exact cause of the crash has not been announced.
