News: Freight train incident nearly kills two

DECEPTION FALLS, WA – A train incident nearly took the lives of two people Thursday morning, reports King 5.

A man and woman were walking to the train trestle on Deception Creek around 10 a.m. when they had an encounter with a train heading west.

The nature of the encounter is under investigation. It’s unknown exactly what happened, but they drove to a hospital following the incident. The couple could face a fine of up to $1,000 for being on the train tracks.
