News: Federal Way PD suspects impairment in fatal crash along SeaTac Village 

FEDERAL WAY, WA – Federal Way police suspect impairment may have been a contributing factor behind a fatal crash at the SeaTac Village Shopping Center. 

The collision happened around 5:30 p.m. on Friday on South 320 Street, according to Kiro7. Preliminary details show that a 26-year-old woman was driving recklessly east on the westbound lane when she crashed head-on into another vehicle. 

The force of the collision led the 26-year-old woman to succumb to her injuries at the scene and left the other driver entrapped or pinned inside his vehicle. Fire crews extricated the surviving driver, and EMS personnel transported him to Harborview Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries.  

Police will conduct an autopsy to confirm whether the woman was impaired and have launched a thorough investigation.
