News: Fatal two-car collision reported on I-5 South in Olympia

OLYMPIA, WA – Washington State Patrol troopers responded to a crash on Interstate 5 South resulting in at least one fatality on Saturday.

According to a tweet from Officer Ryan Burke, the collision happened between two cars at mile marker 96.

South I-5@ milepost 96 (Maytown, Olympia). 2 car collision, 68 year old male from Lynnwood, Deceased at scene. No others involved injured.

A 68 year-old man from Lynnwood passed away from injuries sustained in the accident. No other motorists were injured.

Details regarding the cause of the crash have not been provided.
