News: Fatal crash reported on US 101 north of Shelton

SHELTON, WA – Troopers with the Washington State Patrol’s 8th District responded to a fatal single-vehicle crash on US 101 north of Shelton overnight Tuesday.

According to the district’s PIO, the incident occurred at about 2 a.m. today on US 101 at Purdy Cutoff Road. The vehicle’s driver was declared dead at the scene, while a passenger was taken to Mason General Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police did not need to close the road during their investigation.
