SEATTLE, WA – Seattle fire crews had to extricate three people from their vehicle as a result of a single-car crash that happened at the Washington Park Arboretum on Friday.
KOMO News said the incident unfolded when the driver of a vehicle, which appeared to be a white SUV, left the road and crashed into a ditch off the intersection of Lake Washington Boulevard East and East Foster Island Road.
The white SUV was significantly damaged, and airbags were deployed.
The impact of the collision entrapped the driver and two passengers, who were then extricated.
First responders did not say if the occupants were sent to a hospital, but said they were left in stable condition.
Traffic delays were anticipated as crews responded to the scene.
Officials have not confirmed what caused the driver to crash into the ditch.
